The Latest T-Mobile data breach is fifth and “Largest.”

In a recent data breach accident, over 50 million users’ data have been leaked. This data includes some of the users’ data who have NEVER been the T-Mobile customer. The 21-year-old hacker responsible for this data breach called the T-Mobile security “awful” in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert is now speaking about this breach.
CEO said that the investigation is “sustainably complete.” He further said that “Keeping our customers’ data safe is a responsibility we take incredibly seriously and preventing this type of event from happening has always been a top priority of ours.”
The Verge said that this is the fifth breaching accident happened with T-Mobile since 2018. In 2020, there were two breaches.
To prevent the company from this type of activities T-Mobile shaking hands with the cybersecurity firm Mandiant and consultants at KPMG. Let’s hope that this will make these breaches end.
