Public release is in Fall, Fall is near.
Apple released the 7th beta build for iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15. They roll out a beta for developers and beta testers via the settings app in iPhones and iPad.
Users can download the new updates via the Apple Developer Center and over-the-air updates in the Settings app. You can check, if the download doesn’t appear you should keep checking it will appear after some time. Apple Insider reported: “Round seven takes over from round six, which arrived on August 17 for iOS, iPad, tvOS, and watchOS 8. Round five was on August 10, August 11 for watchOS, round four was on July 27, and round 3 was on July 14.”
Apple’s new OS 15 will probably release in the fall and perhaps now as the fall is coming near, Apple will speed up the release of betas. Beta testers can feel some stability and performance issues while running the beta OS 15, but we are heading to the release of the official public release of Apple’s next generation of operating systems.
- iOS 15 latest beta now allows you to move the safari address bar back to the top
- iOS 15 beta 4 auto removes Lens Flare
As mentioned, beta 6 was released some days ago and came with some major updates like changes in Safari’s design and the removal of SharePlay. Apple says the company will include SharePlay again in some future updates.
Apple recommends that users should not install the betas in their primary devices because they can face severe data loss. Users should use the beta in their non-primary devices and should create a backup of all data before update.
