Battlefield (beta) is coming to mobile this fall

Initial Beta test will be done in Indonesia and the Philippines.

Battlefield (beta) is coming to mobile this fall in Indonesia and the Philippines first.

EA has been working since April to bring its famous series Battlefield games to mobile in 2022. Now, the publisher shared more details about “Battlefield Mobile.”

We’ll be steadily rolling out Battlefield Mobile starting with a series of smaller play tests in Indonesia and the Philippines.

The first of these begins Autumn 2021, and will only be available on Android devices. As we continue with testing, we’ll expand the size of these tests, add new regions. When we’re ready to go broader, we’ll launch a page that allows you to pre-register for the game and sign up for news about future play tests.

The first beta test will include a single map called Grand Bazaar and the Battlefield’s signature Conquest mode. The company says they will definitely share more details when the game will about to launch (2022).

Battlefield Mobile is free-to-play* and only includes cosmetic items. Battlefield Mobile will feature its own Battle Passes, collectible cosmetics, and unlockables unique to this mobile game.

Because Battlefield Mobile is being built specially for mobile, it won’t feature cross-play with any console or PC versions of Battlefield.

So, the company confirmed that Battlefield mobile will be free to play but not support cross-play, which all typical mobile games do because they are “Mobile” games.

If you are in Indonesia or the Philippines, you can pre-register Battlefield Mobile on Google Play Store and have time to play beta versions.
